DMCA & Copyright Takedown
VRStrip.Cam respects creators. We honor the takedown framework defined in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and process similar notices issued under the EU Copyright Directive, the UK Copyright Designs and Patents Act, and equivalent national regimes. Bookmark this page - it's the only official channel.
Before You File
Make sure you actually own the work or have written permission to act on the owner's behalf. Fair-use, parody, news commentary, and embedded reactions are not automatically infringement - filing in bad faith carries real penalties under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including damages plus our legal fees.
What a Valid Takedown Notice Must Include
- A precise description of the copyrighted work - title, registration number if any, plus a public URL or attached file showing the authorized version;
- Direct links to every URL on VRStrip.Cam that you say infringes (one URL per line). Screenshots alone aren't enough - we need the URL to act;
- Your full legal name, mailing address, phone number, and an email address we can reply to;
- The sworn statement: "I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law";
- The sworn statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner - or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner - of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed";
- A physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name in the signature field is acceptable).
Repeat Infringer Policy
Three valid takedown notices against the same account inside any rolling six-month window end that account permanently. Studios that supply a Model receiving three notices may also be reviewed for de-platforming.
Counter-Notice
If we removed your content and you believe that removal was mistaken, send a counter-notice that includes:
- Your full legal name and physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the removed material and the URL it appeared at before takedown;
- The statement: "I declare, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification";
- Your name, address, and phone number, together with consent to the jurisdiction of the operator's principal place of business (or, if you live outside that jurisdiction, the jurisdiction in which the operator may be sued);
- A statement that you'll accept service of process from the party that filed the original notice (or that party's agent).
On receipt of a valid counter-notice we forward it to the original complainant. If they don't file a court action within 10 to 14 business days we may restore the disputed material.
